Our dedicated Intellectual Property (IP) lawyers offer a wide range of services for both contentious and non-contentious IP-related matters.

For non-contentious matters, we manage active regional portfolios of trademarks, designs and domain names. We regularly advise clients on the suitability of marks for registration, the prospects of obtaining registration of marks, the selection and use of trademarks, and oppositions to pending trademark applications. Our IP lawyers file and prosecute domestic as well as international trade mark applications (under the Madrid Protocol), and advise on the documentation required for the assignment and licensing of trade mark rights.

We also handle contentious IP disputes and provides all necessary assistance aimed at enforcing and defending our clients’ intellectual property rights. These include applying for urgent pre-emptive remedies (including Anton Piller orders and injunctions), conducting civil proceedings for copyright and trade mark infringement, applying for and executing warrants for criminal offences and conducting criminal prosecutions.
